Oh yeah, I made a calzone! Woop woop. And p.s., it's delicious. Usually when I make stuff, it's like, "Oh, that didn't kill us. Maybe I'll make it again sometime." But today, it's like, "What up calzone! You just got owned!" I made the dough from scratch with the help of my handy-dandy kitchen-aid (you wanted to say notebook, didn't you?) and I even improvised a little bit with the recipe. They left the dough plain, but I added a drizzle of e.v.o.o. and a bit of garlic salt and oregano before I put it in the oven. My house smelled amazing while it was cooking.
I got the recipe off of the beloved Pinterest. I wanted to try it before my hubby came home to see if it was any good and I ended up eating half of it... Woopsy. It's long but it's not super thick. All I put in there was sauce, cheese, pepperonis, and mushrooms. Next time, I think I'm going to make a vegetarian one.
Anyway, 'twas a wonderful meal.
