Hey so...

Want to hear about what I've been up to lately?

Ok. I'll tell you.

Well, Jackson had a cold at the beginning of August. Then he got another one 2 weeks later. Well, while he was still crusty and congested last week, he caught Hand, Foot, & Mouth.

If you were wondering what Jackson is like when he's sick, well, he's his normal fussy, grumpy self, just extra fussy and grumpy. So you know, good times.

I love that kid, but mama's felt a little crazy for the last while.

He's also been throwing some pretty impressive tantrums. Like when I tell him he has to wear a diaper, or when I close the fridge, or when I put him in any type of grocery cart, or when daddy leaves for work, or when he spills his drink and slips on it after I tried to help him hold it steady, and the list goes on and on.

He's perfected his collapsing limp body move. If you've ever seen the Friends episode where Monica and Chandler buy the arcade machine and Phoebe goes limp, that's pretty much what it's like.

Anyway... long rant over. He is still my best buddy. This morning, we were playing outside and I found a dandelion and put it on my ear. Jackson thought it was funny and then spent the next 5 minutes trying to put rocks on his ear.

At night, when I'm walking him around before bed he puts both his hands on my cheeks and gives me a big kiss, which melts my heart every time.

It's also been cooler outside so we've been to the park a lot more.

I love that episode! But it's soooo frustrating when kids do it. Hope he feels better soon.
