I work 35-40 hrs every week. Good for the budget, bad for the free time.
I've been taking an art for elementary class. Lots of fun activities. When I say lots, I mean tons. All of these which were half finished last week but all due this week. Therefore, I spent a lot of time doing studio this week. Don't I sound artistic? I keep showing Leo what I'm painting or making and he kindly nods as if to say, "Good job producing what a 1st grader can do." (Yeah right, if any one knows my husband, he's probably sincerely saying, "I'm so proud of my talented wife.")
I've been enjoying the summer weather. Last weekend I hiked to Stewart Falls. It was so fun! I went with some friends from my church Relief Society group. They helped me not die, even though everyone kept saying "This is such a great hike to start with, there's almost no elevation." And then I would hold my heavy breathing in and smile. That hike produced a super sexy farmers tan. Theeen, later that day, Leo and I went to the pool and I decided to not put sunscreen on my legs. Mostly because I look deathly pale and I figured red is better than white. Well, at some point Leo or I had sunscreen on our hands and touched my thighs. And now, I have a beautiful mural of finger prints on my thighs. Boy am I excited to go back to the pool and show the people my art work.
Finished with Glee and on to So You Think You Can Dance. We'll see how this SYTYCD season goes with the new rules. I wanted to be bitter and not watch because of all the changes but then I started watching last night and it was all down hill from there. There were so many good dancers and I kept crying because I'm so proud of these people I don't know. It also makes me really want Tivo. But, whatevs, I'll try not to complain.
I'm painting! I almost done painting my kitchen and I've been testing colors for our 2nd bedroom.
Back update: I go back to the physical therapist (hopefully for the last time) on Monday. I feel great lately, I haven't tried running much mostly because of the working a lot more thing. So, I guess we'll see how it goes.
